Emergency

Dr. Gerard provides emergency care for his regular patients on a limited basis. Our availability is currently limited further by the Covid19 pandemic.

If you have a medical emergency with your pet please call our hospital 24 hours a day at 803-469-6077. If the hospital is closed please leave a message on our voicemail. We will return your call at our nearest opportunity.

Our outgoing greeting message will inform you of our office schedule and when we will be back in the office. If appropriate you may present your pet to our office based on this information without an appointment.

If our outgoing greeting message indicates we are not available to see your pet in a timely manner and your pet is seriously ill or injured do not wait to hear back from Dr. Gerard…proceed to an emergency facility listed bellow as soon as possible.
